Understanding The Law of Attraction and Detachment- TCR Method

In this article, we’ll explore the Law of Attraction and the overlooked Law of Detachment to help you dive deeper into manifestation and achieve things you never thought possible.


What is the Law of Attraction?

The Law of Attraction is one of the metaphysical laws of the universe, stating that “like attracts like”. Everything is energy, and you’re a magnetic being. The energetic vibrations you send into the universe as thoughts attract the same energy back to you.

You can manifest anything into your reality by setting an intention, asking the universe, and believing it’s yours.

But what if you’re struggling to see results with the Law of Attraction?

Have you been trying to manifest but feel like you’re hitting a brick wall?

When it comes to the law of attraction, the more desperately you want something, the more you push it away! Worrying that the Law of Attraction isn’t working leads to desperation, frustration, and doubt – which blocks you from manifesting.

Clinging too hard to the desired outcome of your manifestation creates resistance. Think about it like this: Acting overly clingy and needy around a friend or partner is a sure fire way to push them away. In the same way, attaching yourself to the outcome of your manifestation creates the same energy – you chase it away. 

At the core, you’re more worried about what you don’t want – making it difficult to call in the things you do want!

The Law of Detachment for effortless manifestation

The Law of Detachment is a universal law that says to manifest your deepest desires you must let go of your attachment to the outcome.

This doesn’t mean you should stop working toward your goals. You still need to set intentions and take inspired action. Instead, detaching means knowing that your intentions will (or already have) come to pass. Removing a tight grip on the how and when of it all opens you up to receiving. 

Detachment stops you from dwelling on what isn’t unfolding as you expected, making space for manifestation to occur.

Using the law of attraction and detachment in your daily life

The Law of Attraction requires action, and the Law of Detachment requires trust and letting go.

Here are a few of our favorite tips to create a balance and apply these laws to your life:

1. Use affirmations in the present tense

Affirmations are a powerful manifestation tool – if you implement them correctly.

Say your affirmations in the present tense and with gratitude, as if they have already manifested in your life. You can write them down in a journal, repeat them aloud in the mirror, and say them to yourself as you go about your day. It’s also helpful to cultivate emotions to send an energetic vibration into the universe that everything you ask for is already yours.

2. Visualize your ideal really

Visualizing your perfect reality or seeing yourself achieving a specific goal is a great exercise to tap into abundance and successfully co-create with the universe.

Use all five senses in the visualization to create as much detail as possible. The more vivid and specific you can make the visualization, the better!

3. Uncover your limiting beliefs

Limiting beliefs are subconscious beliefs you hold about yourself or the world that create resistance and block manifestation.

Examples of limiting beliefs include:

Nothing good happens to people like me

I’m not good with money

Life is meant to be difficult

I’m unlovable

4. Release areas of resistance in your body

Holding on too tightly to the outcome of your manifestation creates attachment and resistance, which can show up as tension in your body.

You can mindfully enter a state of non-attachment by learning to release it physically.

  1. Relax your belly and breathe slowly using your diaphragm

  2. Mentally feel into any areas of tightness

  3. Direct your breath to these areas and relax them progressively as you exhale

  4. Repeat until you feel the tension release

This exercise, over time, teaches your brain and body that it’s safe to let go.

Final thoughts

The Law of Attraction and the Law of Detachment are BFFs. When you understand their relationship, you’ll manifest effortlessly!

Gratitude, surrender, and trusting that the universe is always on your side allows you to detach, making you infinitely more magnetic.
