The TCR Summer Edit – Our Favorite Products for Summer 2022
We are officially in SUMMER! Easily my favorite time of the year. The sun is out, everyone is smiling, and the streets are buzzing with people. Today, we will be sharing our favorite skin care, fashion, food, and spiritual products to get you through the summer months.
In the summer Chelcie, and I both travel a lot, so we have broken these favorites into our absolute essentials – these products will be going everywhere with us!
Skin Care
This little bottle has already traveled with me all around Europe this summer, I can’t get enough! This spray has aloe in it, so after a long day in the sun, nothing feels better than spraying this – the best way I can describe the feeling is this – you know that feeling when you go to the beach all day, and you get back to your hotel room, shower up, and get dressed for dinner with your friends and family and your skin is still warm from the sun, and basically its the best feeling in the world? lol – that is what this feels like.

You guys, this is one of my holy grail products. I used to struggle with mild eczema and had some dry itchy patches on my inner elbows so I went to a pharmacy in Switzerland and this is the product they recommended. I went home and immediately applied it and within 3 days my eczema was gone. I started going some research on this magical product and turns out you can use it on your face for acne and irritation so I started using it and never turned back. I recommend this product for summer because it has SPF 50 and is a dream to reapply multiple times in a day – it feels like your skin is getting a big chug of water! Run don’t walk.
I also have to add that this product is affordable at only $14, and you can pretty much buy it anywhere now. In Europe just about every pharmacy has it, and in the US you can go to Target, Ulta, Walmart, etc.., and online.

When I first saw this oil at Sana Skin Spa in Miami the first thing that attracted me to it was the rich, intense orange color that I absolutely fell in love with. After talking to my skin healer she said this would be great for me because it’s super hydrating and great for acne-prone skin. At the time I was struggling with acne and was willing to try anything to heal my skin so it went home with me. I saw results in 2 weeks. Your lips new best friend. If you haven’t heard of Weleda, I’m about to put you on it. This affordable organic skincare line is a staple in the natural skincare world. I especially love their skin food line, but something that is staying in my purse all season long is this lip butter. It literally feels like you’re putting the creamiest vegan butter right on your lips. For me, it’s like a softer dupe of the Glossier balm. A little bit goes A LONG way and it keeps my lips super hydrated all day long. I actually have one that lives on my nightstand and one in my bag.

Food
This bar is great for a snack and when I need a little boost in the afternoon to feel a little more energized! Love throwing this in my carry on for a snack on the plane!

I did my yoga teacher training in June, and one thing that I incorporated in my meditation was mala beads – I highly recommend getting mala beads to help you with your concentration. I bought my beads at a boutique in Santa Theresa, but you can find mala beads everywhere! Etsy has really great options – just do your best to find a seller that is creating them with love and choose the mala you feel most called to!
