Let’s Reset.
SOCIAL MEDIA Detox.
with The Collective Ritual
It’s important to note that there’s nothing inherently wrong with spending time on social media. The important thing is to use it with purpose and intention. If, upon reflection, you're able to identify any negative effects that the apps have had on your life, then it’s time for a social media detox.
the basics.
“Comparison is the thief of joy. I dismiss any thoughts that entertain feelings of comparison.”
There’s no denying that social media has become a huge part of modern life. Because of these apps we are able to stay connected with loved ones, catch up on news, and discover both beautiful destinations and inspiring people. But you may find that spending hours on end scrolling through various feeds can leave you feeling anxious, drained, or dissatisfied.
It’s important to note that there’s nothing inherently wrong with spending time on social media. The important thing is to use it with purpose and intention. If, upon reflection, you're able to identify any negative effects that the apps have had on your life, then it’s time for a social media detox.
ASK YOURSELF.
We know these questions might make it hard to be honest with yourself but they really get down to the root of what social media does do you personally, and will make it easier to do this social media detox.
Do I use social media to solve for boredom?
Do I use social media to fight off loneliness?
Do use social media to seek for attention or validation?
Am I using social media to design how I want others to perceive to me?
When I post, what am I truly looking for in return? Why do I want that?
IN ORDER TO RESET AND DETOX ITS IMPORTANT TO MAKE ROOM.

Mindset.
How you talk to yourself has a big impact on how you feel. Negative self-talk can way heavy on your psyche and change your perception of yourself. A lot of the times we think matters are worse than they are. Practicing mirror work or positive self-talk, can do wonders for how you feel. You have to practice positive self-talk, but the more you do it, the easier it becomes. It’s important to give yourself some self-love on days that you may not entirely be feeling your best.
Meditation for cultivating gratitude.
The idea of self-care doesn't always mean going out to the spa to get pampered. It can also mean trusting your heart and intuition to guide you in the right direction in life. It means taking the time to listen to your heart and your intuition often. It is the kind and compassionate way you speak to yourself.
Welcome to the Fluid Intuition Flow, a gentle and mindful ritual designed to help you tap into your intuition through slow movement. This practice combines deep breathing, graceful movements, and focused attention, guiding you towards a greater connection with your inner wisdom and intuition.
Materials Needed:
A quiet and comfortable space with room to move
Comfortable and loose-fitting clothing
A yoga mat or soft surface
Soft background music
Instructions:
Set the stage for mindful movement: Create a quiet and comfortable space with room to move freely. If you'd like, lay out a yoga mat or soft surface and play some soft background music to set a calming mood.
Begin with grounding breaths: Stand with your feet hip-width apart and close your eyes. Take a few deep breaths, inhaling slowly through your nose and exhaling through your mouth. Allow your body and mind to relax as you become more present.
Connect with your body: With your eyes still closed, start to gently sway your body from side to side, feeling the connection between your feet and the ground. Gradually increase the range of motion, allowing your arms to move freely and your head to follow the movement.
Engage in slow, intuitive movement: Allow your body to guide you into a flow of slow, graceful movements. Trust your intuition as you move, letting go of any expectations or judgment. Focus on the sensations in your body and the rhythm of your breath.
Tune into your intuition: As you continue to move, turn your attention inward and ask yourself a question you'd like guidance on. Allow any insights or intuitive feelings to arise without judgment. Simply observe and acknowledge them.
Rest and reflect: Slowly bring your movement to a stop and transition to a comfortable seated position on your mat or soft surface. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths, allowing the insights and feelings from your movement practice to settle within you.
Journal your experience: Open your eyes and take a moment to write down any insights, thoughts, or feelings that emerged during your Fluid Intuition Flow in your journal. Reflect on how these insights can guide you in your daily life.
Close the ritual: Take a few more deep breaths, returning your awareness to the present moment. Thank yourself for taking the time to connect with your intuition and commit to nurturing this connection through mindful movement.

CREATIVE RECIPES.
Breakfast. Tropical Black Smoothie Bowl.
Ingredients:
1 frozen banana
1/3 cup frozen mango
5 frozen full-fat coconut milk ice cubes
2 tbsp charcoal powder
Handful spinach
1 scoop of vegan protein powder
splash of almond milk (as needed)
Toppings:
1/4 mango sliced
1 tbsp shredded coconut
1 tbsp hemp hearts
1 tbsp chia seeds
A sprinkle of goji berries
A sprinkle of bee pollen
A few frozen or fresh blueberries
Directions:
1. First start by prepping your toppings by cutting everything and setting it aside. This step should always be first so your smoothie bowl doesn't melt.
2. To a high-speed blender add frozen banana, coconut milk ice cubes, frozen mango and approx. 1-2 tbsp almond milk. Blend on low while scraping down sides every couple of spins. This might take a while to get to the perfect consistency but stick with it and do not add too much liquid. Keep blending until you have ice cream consistency.
3. Once you get to the perfect texture add in your spinach and kale and blend until smooth.
4. Add in your protein powder and charcoal and blend.
5. Finally, add your toppings, get creative, and enjoy!

3 sprigs fresh parsley, leaves picked
2 small cloves garlic, sliced
1/2 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon Himalayan salt
¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
Juice of 1 lemon
¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
For The Salad
8 cups packed mixed greens
1 plum, sliced

1 avocado, pitted and diced into cubes
2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tablespoon goji berries
1 tablespoon dried mulberries

2 tablespoons roughly chopped cashews
2 tablespoons hemp seeds

Edible Flowers (optional)
Directions:
1. Make the roasted cauliflower: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
2. Toss together the cauliflower with the oil and salt in a large bowl. Arrange the vegetables on the prepared baking sheet and roast for 20 minutes, or until the cauliflower is brown, tender, and a bit crispy. Set aside to cool.
3. Make the dressing: In a food processor, combine the cilantro, parsley, garlic, salt, honey, paprika, red chili flakes, and lemon juice and pulse until the mixture is coarsely chopped. Scrape down the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula and, with the food processor running, slowly stream in the oil. Process until the sauce is mostly smooth and set aside.
4. Assemble the salad: In a large bowl, toss together the greens, plum, sprouts, carrot, and avocado with the oil and lemon juice.
